I recently read an article from a popular newspaper purporting to understand modern agriculture and how crops and livestock are raised in this country. It was interesting in that the author, admittedly having only been to a farm a couple of times, seemed to claim complete mastery of animal agriculture and was quite certain that nearly all animals are raised in the same manner.
