A typical quarter will be about 115 to 125 pounds of packaged meat and takes up about 2 shelves of a standard upright freezer. Cuts include ground beef, New York strips, ribeye steaks, filet mignon, sirloin steaks, rump roast, chuck roast, and arm roast, all for less than $6.00 per pound.
